University of the Potomac was founded in 1991 and offers Associate of Science , Bachelor of Science and Master’s Degree Programs. The educational philosophy of University of the Potomac is to address the needs and learning styles of a diverse community of lear ers through the structure of its academic programs that int grate classroom theory and relevant practical experience.
University of the Potomac offers a vibrant multicultural atmosphere located in the heart of the United States of America capital,Washington,D.C. headquarters to Government Organisations , Non-profit Organisations , International organisations .
University of the Potomac (formerly known as Potomac College) has a multidisciplinary professors spanning the Washington,D.C. international and local business community including the world bank, peace corps, D.C. government, Verizon, Dell, Lockheed Martin AOL and Oracle are the names if we consider few.

ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS

Completed international student application and non-refundable application fee of US $100
02.

Official academic evidence of completion of secondary education translated in English language.
03.

Official proof of English language proficiency.
04.

Proof of sufficient financial funds shown in U.S currency/dollars to cover educational and living expenses.
05.

STEP-BY-STEP VISA APPLICATION PROCESS
STEP 1: RECEIVE YOUR CERTIFICATE OF ELIGIBILITY FOR NONIMMIGRANT STUDENT STATUS – FORM I-20
To apply for a visa,you must first have received a form I-20 from us.We will provide you with the appropriate form after you have met all the admissions requirements and provided us with all necessary forms.
STEP 2: PAY SEVIS FEE
You must pay a SEVIS fee and fill out other visa applications prior to your visa interview.Go to the SEVIS I-901 fee processing website for complete information about paying your SEVIS fee.Follow the instructions carefully.
STEP 3: SCHEDULE YOUR INTERVIEW AND APPLY FOR YOUR VISA AT THE U.S. EMBASSAY OR CONSULATE
Refer to U.S.nonimmigrant visa website to complete the required applications forms.It is best practice to ensure your passport is valid for atleast six months .Be sure to have your form I-20 and Form DS-2019 and your SEVIS receipt.

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
  
 
 
 

HOUSING

University of the Potomac does not provide on-campus housing or student dormitories,however we do assist with students housing arrangements-either off-campus housing or hon homestay.
Our student housing partner provides international students with comfortable and high end housing options.For convenience these housing options are always located next to within commuting distance to university.Accommodation is tailored to custom-fit the academic and housing needs of each student.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS TUITION SCHOLARSHIP
The international students tuition scholarship is open to new international student planning on full time enrollment at the university of the Potomac .the scholarship can cover up to 50%pf the normal international student tuition cost.The scholarship is available to first time undergraduate and graduate students,and can be renewed provided the student maintains an acceptable academic record.This scholarship only cover tuition charges.the student is required to pay all entry and semester fees.the scholarship can be renewed on an monthly basis based on the student meeting the University’ academic criteria.the scholarship can also be used for year round study.
